About Us
At the crosshairs of the Brooklyn’s dynamic design scene, The Arsenal is a gallery/event space/showroom dedicated to bringing fashion, performance and fine arts professionals together and providing the space and resources necessary to further develop their collective creative vision. Just 3 blocks from the Bedford L train and 7 blocks from the Williamsburg Bridge, The Arsenal gives you a beautifully original space, personalized assistance and industry-standard tools to fully execute your vision in a truly convenient location at prices that you can afford.
Built on the foundations of an actual Civil War-era armory, our original Brooklyn loft space boasted streaming natural light {compliments of the circa 1850’s windows}, historical tin ceilings and hardwood floors. As functional as it was beautiful, the space also features a complete eat-in kitchen adjacent to a fully equipped bar, and even a cozy outdoor patio with city views. We evolved amid incredible experiences at shows last summer and fall, and recently our search for an even better space culminated with a partnership at Kingdom. Our new home boasts a full bar, gorgeous lighting and sleek yet natural wooden decor.
Our staff offers expertise in a variety of creative fields including fashion, photography, fine art and graphic design and well as event planning services and equipment rentals. The entire 2,500 square foot studio is available for private event rental (runway shows and presentations, gallery exhibitions, pop-up shops, release parties, weddings), and we are fully-equipped for all your photography or location shooting needs. The Arsenal also offers a full range of creative classes in fashion design, photography, makeup, graphic design, screenprinting, life drawing and more….all just a 10 minute trip from Union Square!
