Crash Course: Social Media and Indie Marketing

Web 2.0 and user generated content has given indie artists and small business owners the ability to promote and market to hundreds, even thousands of people at absolutely no cost to them. Social media has become the ultimate tool for this new generation of people who want to set their own rules, their own hours and their own future.This class will teach what tools to use, how to set them up for your own needs and how to maximize their potential in ways that none of your peers are even thinking of! You'll learn how to find out what's going on in your niche market, so you'll always be up to date on current trends. Screenprinting Class
Screenprinting, or silkscreening as it is also know, is one of the oldest and simplest methods of printing that is available. It also requires the least amount of technical equipment or skill of any printing process, so you can cheaply and easily create multiple prints of your designs on paper, clothing or accessories…all in your own apartment!
In this class you will learn all of the steps involved in the screen printing process from design conception to the finished product.You will then use the screen that you created to practice printing techniques on t-shirts, fabric, paper or nearly any smooth surface you supply!
When: Wednesday, September 23rd, 6PM-10PM Cost: $125+$45 Materials Fee Class Size: 10

DIY Press Kit Class
Our DIY Press Kit classes will allow you to utilize your creative skills to create a complete press kit and learn distribution techniques for print and web. A well-developed press kit can be your key to editorial attention, consumer awareness and marketing success to take your business to the next level.

Graphic Design for Apparel
Perhaps you are starting your own fashion brand, or maybe you just want to make a gift for a friend. After attending our Graphic Design for Apparel Class, students will leave the class with a graphic based off of their source image that is formatted, sized and screen-ready!
