You'll learn how to find out what's going on in your niche market, so you'll always be up to date on current trends. Once you've mastered the tools, you'll learn how to get statistics on your efforts and how to do more with buzz building techniques.The old rules of marketing no longer apply. Because of free user generated content on the Internet and Web 2.0, social media has become the mightiest tool in marketing. The best thing about it? 99% of the tools you'll need to reach hundreds, even thousands, are free!
In this class, you'll learn how to change your frame of mind as an indie artist or small business owner. This mind frame will get you ready to learn how to use social media as free and dynamic marketing tools. Once you have all your tools in place, I'll teach you how to keep your finger on the pulse of your niche market so you can start creating and consuming content and is relative to your needs. After you learn how to get your work to the masses, you'll learn how to power up your efforts and receive powerful statistics to see how you're doing. Lastly, you'll receive ideas on how to start building a buzz around your work so you can take off.
Workshop 1: Getting Started {Monday, October 12th at 7pm}
Learn what social media is and why certain tools have risen to the top. You will also learn why social media is so powerful and how a certain frame of mind change can make or break your career. Once the class gets started, you'll learn how to set up your social media tools and how to begin stat tracking and finding resources to become a member of the conversation about your niche market.
Workshop 2: Targeted Creation, Consumption, Distribution {Monday, October 19th at 7pm}
In this class you'll learn how to make your social media efforts easier to find through search engines and how to make yourself stand out in the crowd (both personally and technology-wise). We will also dive deeper into how to find out who's talking about you and your brand and how to join in on the conversation. Lastly, you'll learn how to find and target people in your niche market and how to deliver content to them directly.
Workshop 3: Powering Up + Buzz Building {Monday, October 26th at 7pm}
Once you've immersed yourself in social media, you'll learn one last set of tools to stat track and distribute all your content. You'll learn my trick to gaining 100 to even 200+ new Twitter followers in 24 hours and finally you'll get a toolbox of ideas on how to begin creating buzz surrounding you, your product or your service. As you go on your way, even I'll provide information about some tools that actually do cost some money, if you want to take advantage of them.
